A first step to Saddlebred ownership and involvement is to join ASHA of Ontario, the local Charter Club. Membership will give you access to the support of the Saddlebred Community in Ontario. Membership in ASHA of Canada, the Canadian registry association allows you to become familiar with the rules of ownership and stewardship of the breed. Membership in the Canadian association is required for the registration and transferring of your Saddlebred into your name in Canada.
